Baby Danielle is a precious five-year-old girl from Vihiga, a small village in Busia County, Kenya. Her journey has been marked by unimaginable challenges, all stemming from a condition she’s endured since infancy. At just six months old, Danielle developed a small swelling on her chin. Over time, it grew into a large, painful mass, hindering her ability to eat, speak, and even smile. Her family has traveled tirelessly, visiting four different hospitals in search of answers, yet a crucial surgical procedure remains out of reach due to its complexity and cost.
What We Are Dealing With – Diagnosis
Danielle’s condition isn’t cancerous—thankfully, a biopsy confirmed this. But without surgery, this young girl will continue to live with pain and a severely restricted life. A team of at least three specialized surgeons is needed to perform the operation that will restore her ability to live a normal life, and we are calling on compassionate individuals to help make this possible.
The mother, who is already overwhelmed with providing for her children, is unable to foot the medical bill associated with Danielle’s surgery/ medical treatment. That’s where we come in! We are raising funds to help facilitate for said treatment.
